A tray dryer is a drying equipment with enclosed insulated chambers and trays placed on the top of each other. This equipment is mainly used in processes where drying and cooling are crucial part of the manufacturing process such as that in food industries.
The basic working principle of a tray dryer is the continuous circulation of cold air. Due to this, the moisture is removed from the food products kept on the tray through a process of Low Temperature Cold Drying Technology (LTCD).
